McCulloch County Democrats prepare for the upcoming  August Natonal Convention, after they voted at their McCulloch County Caucus.  The Republican Party does not give their members the opportunity to vote in a caucus, thus the Democrats actually vote twice during the primary voting.  The Democrats by delegate vote, chose two delegates, one for Obama and one for Clinton.  Many Democrats have not voted in several years but this year under the leadership of Judy Meitz, the current McCulloch County Democratic Chairperson,  the Democrats are preparing to register non-voters and pick-up and drive  voters to the proper polling places.  The McCulloch County Democrats expect to surpass  the participation of past years.
